Scholarly literature reviews were not able to find other whole health assessments that were theoretically robust, adequately evaluated, or validated (Click on button "View the Assessment" and see "References").

The Wholistic Health Assessment © was:

• Developed after extensive literature review to choose and define each domain.
• Standardized with uniform and consistent scales.
• Tested for content validity with subject matter experts who reviewed and provided feedback on question clarity and relevance.
• Tested for face validity with individuals from the general population who provided feedback on wording, appropriateness, and understandability.
• Tested with appropriate Cronbach alpha scores and exploratory factor analysis.
• Met COSMIN quality criteria for content validity.
